Introduction
In today’s era of modern education the process of teaching has also modified with respect to the change in the market. As innovation is taking place and new ways of working culture is developing so the primitive age of education system needs to be revived. To do that some modern teaching standard and assessing based on those standards help the schools to inculcate the new trends among the students and also their skills are developing in multiple platforms.

In today’s scenario, the trend of assessing a student has changed. New trends are adopted rather than traditional form as this will help the students to be more practical in their approach and they gather a plenty of information while doing any project or task (Santrock). Thus, this will help the teachers to perform assessment task in a better way. Here are few tools of assessment:
a) Alternate assessment allows a student to have more options rather than in essay or writing test. Some options that a student can have are book report, artworks, videos and models. Students are provided with a detailed set of instruction and scoring guide for the quality control assessment (Contreras-Higuera et al.).
b) Authentic assessment evaluates a student’s knowledge or skills with context to the real world situation. These kinds of assessment find some realistic results.
c) Performance assessment represents a student’s performance, which includes dance, music, art, papers, projects, oral presentation and many more. In this type of assessment, a student can be evaluated based on his performance (Santrock).
