You will be required to turn in a 5 page research paper about a high profile manager (one of the eleven CEOs listed below). Please include information about this person’s personal and professional background, management style and skills and research about why this person is (or is not) such an effective manager/leader. You shouldutilize at least three articles dated from 2008 to present as references.

General APA Guidelines for this paper:


Your APA paper should be typed, double-spaced on standard-sized paper (8.5" x 11") with 1" margins on all sides. You should use 12 pt. Times New Roman font. Include a page header at the top of every page. To create a page header/running head, insert page numbers flush right. The body of your paper should be 3-5 pages in length.


REFERENCES PAGE

Robert A. Iger was Born in February 10, 1951, in Ocean-side, New York; Son of the Arthur (a business executive and professor) and Mimi Iger is teaching assistant); Married first wife; Willow Bay (a television model and journalist), married on 7, October, 1995; Children: Amanda and Katie (from a first marriage), Will and Robert Maxwell, (from a second marriage) Born 10, February, 1951, Iger grow up in New York (George, 2016). By the age of 10, Iger knew that he want to working in television. Iger hopes to one day work for CBS News. After the graduating from the Ithaca College, Iger began his professional career in New York, Ithaca. There, he began working in the front of a camera for local news channel, however not in the way he planned originally: he was television weather man. Iger started his career in media in 1972 as host of the Ithaca College TV program "Campus Probe". He dreamed of become an anchor of news channel while working as weatherman for 5 months before changing career goals (Horváth, 2017). Success of Iger at ABC Sports caught attention of network chiefs. Iger In 1988 left the ABC Sports to working for ABC, parent network. This year, he was appointed vice president executive of the network.
In these positions, especially in the early 1990s, Iger's main concern was programming. He was very involved in programming and editing rights. During the 1993-1994 television seasons, he helped broadcast ABC to the number two network on air; The ABC ranks first in 1994-95. Iger remain with ABC after 1996 merger with the network as well as its parent business, Disney, Capital Cities. Additionally to helping him successfully compete for a merger, he played key role in network programming (Huber, Odermatt, Hagmann, Dahinden & Fux, 2014). In 1999 and 2000, he or other executives enjoyed success at hit prime time game show, who needs to be Millionaire, pushing it into the network's audience every day.
