Gear Wear is a new company and plans to sell premium sporting goods items and products for the whole family, focusing primarily on as well as specializing in sports equipment from major manufacturers, for example, Easton, Wilson, Worth, Miken, Louisville Slugger, and Under Armor. By providing the most complete selection and experienced support staff, our business will quickly gain the market share.
1. How would you market your products?
"While cutting costs is inevitable, marketing and product promotions are essential. The question is, how can I effectively promote my products on a small budget and solution is the Internet. It is a very powerful but cost-effective communication technique that can be effectively used to stimulate important sales growth even during a recession.
Gear wear’s main sales category breaks down the customer base by "sports engagement" —that is, the person who is buying the sports items and products. However, we will take diverse approaches to attract customers based on a relationship with sports or sports athletes (a type of customer) and purchase methods/locations (retail/online).
Customer types-Many people who buy sporting goods are not the people who participate in the sport, but parents, sports directors and coaches (Ding, Hicks & Ju, 2016).
Retail/Online-essential for the retail stores, geography and demographics departments, especially in determining the diverse needs of local as well as online customers. The appeal to football moms has a way of working in local newspapers, where the ease factor is to provide quality customer service in nearby areas, while the online method is different, and online convenience may be free shipping with large orders and free phone assistance for choosing a size.

2. Which management style would you prefer to motivate your staff and how would you do that?
I like the authoritarian style of management because it involves managing with clear direction plus control sometimes referred to as authoritarian or command management style. Authoritarian managers often assert authority, have full decision-making authority and expect unquestioning obedience. This style needs clearly define roles, reporting structures and strict hierarchies (Svolik, 2008). Employees don't have to question who is liable or responsible for what. To be an effective autocratic leader, I need and can always keep my team up-to-date and make any decisions. If I have new and inexperienced staff who need coaching...
