Feminist movements mainly looks after women's rights, so that like men they can also get the rights to vote, can work and earn fair and equal wages, get equal salary, and also make sure that there aren't any gender issues involved in the pay gap. Many scholars think that feminist's campaigns were mainly responsible behind the historical changes of the society and woman empowerment particularly in the western countries, which were male, dominated at that time. Feminism can be classified mainly into three types, which are mainly gender reform feminism, gender resistant feminism and gender revolution feminism.
Gender reform feminism mainly looks after the rights of individuals; gender resistant feminism focuses on the specific behaviors and group dynamics and establishes equality in positions. Gender revolution feminism resists the social order through its fundamentals and principles and looks after cultural reproduction. Feminism from the very beginning faced many resistances and is still now facing many. According to many feminist ideas created collaborations of feminist ideas created collaborations of feminist subdivisions. Topic of debate as it is, it has often been argued that men and women occupying same position in the society is a tough job. This patriarchal mindset is the result of failure of various movements that aimed to have feminism. Marxist Feminism has given rise to a number of such loopholes that need to be amended in order to establish a sound society as aimed by the definition of feminism
The Historical Role of the Women in the Society
Throughout ages women have been a victim of oppressions, deprived from rights, and subjection to violence and throughout the pages of history the rights for women rose and fell, however they fought against the oppressions on an individual basis through ages.
