You are working as part of a programming team. Because of your valuable contributions on the last project, your have once again been asked to participate on the current project for ACME Baking.
ACME Banking has hired your company to create a program that will calculate the future value of a monthly investment.
The output for the program should look like this:
Before you were asked to join the team, they had started working on the code for this project, but they are running into issues. The team knows that there are logic errors in their code, but they can’t seem to correct the syntax errors so they can run the program.
Here is the code they have so far:
They have asked you to give input on corrections to the current code, additional code needed, and comments that should be added to the program. Reply to this prompt and to give your feedback. Make sure you write your code and comments in the correct format.
You may hand write your feedback/corrections/additions and upload an image to the discussion, you can save the image and then write on it electronically using a digital pen, you can reply to the prompt and type out your response, or if you have another way you would like to submit your feedback you can check with me to make sure it will be acceptable.
You will also need to reply to a minimum of two class members responses and comment on the feedback they provided. Some things to address in your reply posts:
- Did they have comments that you didn't think of?
- Did they find errors to correct that you did not see?
- Did they add different code to the program than you did?
- Did they have a different way to solve the problem?
This is a post first discussion. You will not be able to see or reply to any class member's posts until you have first posted your original reply to the prompt.
