Introduction
Amazon was launched in 1995 from a garage as a bookseller but later it expanded to wide variety of products in consumer segment and digital platform. It is headquartered in Seattle and owned by Jeff Bezos. It is also a cloud computing giant and one of the leading e-commerce company. It set its mission as earth’s most customer centric company (Amazon, 2021).
All the innovations, programs, projects and goals are designed keeping customer in mind. It always take fast and smart decisions and keep delighting its customers with various strategies. Despite best of its efforts, Amazon do lacked big bets at times. The assignment will discuss about an article reporting ethical issues, which took place in Amazon and the way it affected its reputation.

The website is hugely followed by population, which believes in online shopping and plays a great influential role in shaping their purchase decisions.
It assesses the reason behind the breaking of ethical standards, their implications and aware consumer about the same. It acts as a powerful platform to form opinions at large, about different ethical categories, which an organization is expected to follow being a socially active and customer centric company.
