You are required to identify a thematic issue, industry sector, government agency or large organisation that is grappling with the challenges of ‘sustainability’ as a case-study.Your task is to prepare a written ‘Briefing Report’ that addresses how the problem or challenge should be addressed using your insights on sustainability developed through Assessment 1. You should identify who the specific audience for the report is: a government agency (Australian or overseas); a local council; a United Nations’ Organisation; an industry association; a particular business; a non-government organisation; other organisation.Your report should: • Identify the key sustainability challenge(s) being addressed, • Present a brief background to the challenge(s), reviewing current practices (i.e. as of 2020) and identifying the assumptions in the framing of the problem, • If possible, identify what level of thinking and what time frame are operative among the key players? • Evaluate the sustainability of current practices, with particular reference to the Covid-19 pandemic and sustainability. • Apply your understanding of sustainability to suggest what improvements, if any, are need and discuss what level of thinking and time frame is needed for an optimal solution.
