In the movie, ‘Charlie’s Country’, Charlie is retrieved to Darwin Hospital due to an acute episode of pneumonia. In the following assignment, you are required to create an argument for or against the statement below.
You will need to a) draw upon the Unit’s theory in your argument as well as b) conduct your own search of the literature. A minimum of ten (10) journal article references is required to demonstrate a broad consideration of the topic.
The second part of this assignment requires you to create a resource for your colleagues.
Part A (1500 words)
STATEMENT: “The treatment Charlie received in hospital contributed to his ultimate jail sentence and if anyone had thought to put him in touch with an Aboriginal health service, he probably would have been alright”.
