XML Assignment Prepare a XBRL Document Write the long-term-term liabilities sections of a company in XBRL using the proper format. You should copy the current assets portion of XBRL on the second page and paste it in Notepad (not Notepad++). When finished, save the file with a .xml extension (as in yourlastname.xml) and test it to make sure it is well-formed by opening it in your Web browser. It should open in color like the example on the third page. Make sure when you save it you do the following: File, Save as, change type to “All Files”. 1. Use your own name as the identifier scheme 2. Use the date as 12/31/2019 in proper format 3. Use the proper name according to XBRL format. You can find the names at the following: a. https://xbrl.us/home/learn/us-taxonomies/ Use 2020 US GAAP Financial and SEC Reporting Taxonomies b. Click on UGT Viewer c. Drill down to long-term liabilities and find the proper XBRL spelling of the name under the properties window located on the right-hand side.Drill down until you see this blue symbol Name d. Start at: Statement – Statement of Financial Position, Classified 4. You should choose a minimum of 6 long-term liability accounts “Name” located in the Properties section on the right-hand side. (Hint: copy one of the rows to create another row for the 6th long-term liability). 5. Change the amounts for each long-term liability – keep it simple to make it easy to total them 6. You need to find the proper tag for Total Long-term Liabilities and put in the correct amount for the Total Long-term liabilities 7. Name your file your lastname.xml Points: 3 point for valid long-term liabilities account tag 2 point for changing the amount for each long-term liability 5 points for file opening properly in a browser 1 point for naming the file your last name 2 points for using proper date 2 points for having proper total long-term liabilities and changing the total amount of long-term liabilities This is an example of the current assets part of a balance sheet in XBRL format MYBK 2017-08-31 iso4217:USD539300063500008954000123400055600022487000
