Narrative Essay: My Best Vacation
Vacations are a way, by which someone can take a few days of pause in their regular activities and work to freshen their mind. These few days of a change in the regular routine can help an individual revitalize their lives. For every individual, it is important to take a few days of vacation from their daily lives so that they can appreciate simple things, which are outside their daily routine. For me, one of the best vacations I have spent was in Bali.
Bali is a small island in Indonesia and after my graduation with my family. We had planned for this vacation for some time and I could not wait to take some break from my studies. The island is not that populated and surrounded by the Indian Ocean. There were several beach cottages and resorts that were located beside the sea. The serene beauty and the warm sand refreshed my mind. One of my best memories during the vacation was every morning with my sister I used to take a swim in the ocean.
The warm blue water and the sound of waves had a soothing effect in my mind. It made me forget my stress and anxieties and I could enjoy the beauty of nature. The vacation existed for seven days. We had local food and visited local Buddhist temples. There were local shops in Bali that sold shells and seaweeds, which we cannot find in any parts of the world. Nature has a strange way of soothing our mind and this vacation helped me connect with nature.
Hence, to conclude, I feel everyone should take the opportunity of enjoying the vacation. Sometimes in our busy daily schedule, we forget nature and we also fail to spend time with our family. Moreover, this vacation did help me regain my motivation and enthusiasm to go back once again so that I can resume back my daily life. Vacation serves an individual to connect and enjoy a few days of their lives with their families in the midst of nature away from the city lives.
