    Researchers have established the fact that married individual have better physical and psychological health. Since African American people suffered from the poor health conditions, researcher have drawn their attention towards the African-American marriages and their dynamics, which can support their stability.
Prior Knowledge
    Earlier it has been known that structural, individual and cultural factors contributed to the low rates of marriage among African American. It has been seen that low attention have been paid to the factors, which are responsible for the disruption of the marriages among African American. The large literature is available, which links the gender attitude and marital dynamics to marital stability and satisfaction. Apart from this, very few information is available for the ethnic comparative design to identify the difference between African Americans and European Americans.
