Mang Ping, 62 y/o male who is relatively well, no maintenance medication and works as a jeepney driver. He went to the health center to get a health clearance after testing negative to COVID test which is required by the City Health Office before they can resume work.


Vital signs show the following: BP- 130/90. PR- 81; RR 17; Temp- 37.0, BMI = 27.8. He has no known illness but family history reveals (+) Lung cancer on the paternal side and (+) hypertension and diabetes on the maternal side. He used to smoke one pack a day for 5 years but now he finishes 5-7 cigarette sticks per day. He is an occasional drinker.


 Laboratory results reveal normal complete blood count, high cholesterol, high fasting blood sugar, high uric acid. Normal urinalysis and feaclysis. (-) Rapid testing for COVID-19.


He says "I am still strong at age 62! I cannot wait to go back to work. I am worried about my family especially now that it is already back to school and my eldest is in college and we neey money to buy him a second hand laptop. I really need to work hard." He further continues.. "Of course, I am afraid of COVID-19, but I have no choice but to go out and drive. I will just make sure I have alcohol and mask all the time.
