SOLUTION-

We have the formula for difference of two angles of cosine
as cos(A-B)= cosA cosB-
sinA sinB

We have (cos155’cos135’+sin155’sin35’)

By using above formula we can write (cos155’cos35’+sin155’sin35’)= cos(155’-35’)=cos120’=-1/2
