Immune System in defense during a microbial infection:
Our immune system plays a very important role in the eradication of the infections caused by microbes. It happens in a way by the help of innate and adaptive immune system which actually acts against the foreign body that causes infection in our body. The innate immune system acts as the first line of defense to against the pathogens and save us for infection and provides a preconfigured response to broad groups of situations and stimuli. The adaptive immune system works after 3-4 days and gives a tailored response to each stimulus caused due to the infection and use molecules and cells to perform their functions.
