Write an editorial of no more than 1,000 words on the following research paper (Essential reading 3 from Module 1, part 1):

An editorial is a commentary that helps the reader to understand the significance and implications of the research results.  It is an insightful piece of work rather than a repetition of what is already in the scientific research paper.

Ensure that you set the scene to help the reader understand the relevance of the research question and briefly describe what they did and what they found (emphasise important results only).  Furthermore, discuss the strengths and limitations of the methods and design.
Conclude by either commenting on the authors’ conclusion, offering new conclusions and/or by putting results in perspective. A supporting commentaries has been provided to help you with the above.
