Need to utilize SCHOLARLY for sources.Simply googling the topic and utilizing and citing the websites that come up in the search is not sufficient. For an academic research paper, this assignment need to utilize academic sources.

Should have 3-5 sources (books, articles, or a combination), can also use articles from the websites like (USHMM, Yad Vashem, etc.). Websites other than those will not be accepted as sources. Need to use quotes from and cite the sources.Again, in an academic history paper, this is a must in order to support the thesis.Be very careful to use quotations around anything that are directly taking (word for word) out of a source and be sure to include a citation stating where it came from so that the paper is not flagged for plagiarism. Also, for history, the standard format for citations is the Chicago Manual of Style. Here is the link to the site for the manual where it says how to construct the citations and format the paper. Make sure the last page would be the reference page

Millions of innocent lives were lost during the Holocaust, one of the darkest eras in human history, at the hands of the Nazi government. Children who were subjected to intense
violence, abuse, and deprivation were among those who suffered the most. Children in ghettos and concentration camps had very different experiences, yet they were both places of unspeakable agony and loss. The experiences of children in concentration camps during the Holocaust will be the main topic of this essay. The purpose of this essay is to give a thorough examination of the circumstances that children experienced in concentration camps, the horrors they endured, and the effects these things had on their life. This article will offer a thorough knowledge of the experiences of children in concentration camps during the Holocaust by looking at both primary and secondary sources. In order to prevent other crimes and to honour the memory of these innocent people, it is crucial to remember them. Children in Ghettos
The Nazis created ghettos during the Holocaust to separate and restrict Jewish people, sometimes in crowded and unhygienic settings. Ghetto children endured extreme suffering from sickness, malnutrition, and death. They were particularly susceptible to ailments including typhus, TB, and dysentery due to a shortage of food and medical resources. The Nazis and the ghetto police often threatened to harm and mistreat children. Children were frequently made to labour lengthy shifts in industries without enough food or relaxation in many ghettos. The Warsaw Ghetto, where some 400,000 Jews were imprisoned in a limited space, was one of the most infamous ghettos. There was a severe lack of food, water, and medical supplies in the ghetto, which had terrible living conditions. Children were especially at risk, and many of them perished from violence, sickness, or malnutrition. Everyone is aware that children are dying, according to[footnoteRef:2]. The death of a child is difficult to convey in terms of appearance. It is awful. And it occurs frequently. Some children in the Warsaw Ghetto managed to survive despite the appalling conditions by joining clandestine resistance groups or getting assistance from sympathetic non-Jewish Poles. Children were frequently made to perform forced labor in the Warsaw Ghetto. They were made to perform menial tasks, such as cleaning up debris or erecting walls around the ghetto, at factories or on construction sites. The youngsters received little rest or nourishment, and the task was frequently physically taxing. "The children were supposed to work eight hours a day, but often worked much longer hours, up to 12 or 16 hours a day," claims[footnoteRef:3]. They were forced to reach unattainable quotas and were subjected to physical abuse by the guards (p. 81). The kids were frequently too frail to work, and if they didn't complete their assignments, they would get hit or punished. [2: Michlic, Joanna B.     Medical experiments were also performed on slum children. Injecting youngsters with illnesses or exposing them to harsh cold or heat were only two of the medical experiments the Nazis conducted in the ghettos. Numerous kids perished as a result of the experiments, which were frequently...
