Introduction to Deontology
    According to deontology theory, characteristics of the action must be focused instead of the outcome of the action. It has been seen that individual must take necessary decision based on the obligations and duties. All actions which are taken must be taken with intention to not to harm the society or emotions of other person (Meyers). It must be noted that deontology theory emphasizes that people must not forget about their ethical duties when take any action. It also suggests that harm in any form is not acceptable irrespective of the consequences. This theory is considered following set rules and laws. There are many versions of deontology theory, but the view of Immanuel Kant on deontology is considered most relatable view.
Kantian Values
    According to the Kant’s version of deontology, people must not judge the individual based on the consequences of their action. They must be judged on basis of the motives, which resulted into these kinds of action. If action taken by the individual have good motive, then that action is good. On the contrary, if this action has personal beneficial motives, then that individual must be judged (Barrow and Khandhar).
