Write a paper in which you explain how/argue that Body of Truth takes a position and tries to get its reader to adopt a certain conclusion. In other words, make a case that your interpretation of the book is credible and text-based. End your paper's first paragraph with the following formulation: "In Body of Truth, David Lindsey argues that . . . ." Body of Truth is a detective novel writte
n by the author, David Lindsey who is known to create detective masterpieces with enigmatic stories and often voicing his opinion on the current scenario of society. In this story his famous detective character, Stuart Haydon is set to solve a case, which includes officials of the government and certain political motives that are revealed with time by the author. This case revolves around Guatemala and Latin America with certain political jumbles that take place with the disappearance of the character, Lena Muller. In this story we shall see how the interpretation of the book becomes credible and text-based and how the sequence of events take sudden turns so that the reader adopts a certain conclusion. In the story, ‘Body of Truth’ the author argues that whatever is printed and established, we take it as the truth and thereby a body of truth is formed which might often be far from the actual truth and might not be justified in certain cases.
 The Misleading Institution of Truth
The characters that to come to light in the story are often shrouded in mystery and contradiction which creates the basic plot for the author to continue with his aim to prove that whatever is written is often not the truth. "Just because it is in print doesn't mean it is the gospel" is a phrase that holds true for this story in many aspects. The plot revolves around a number of characters who worked for the government in their past lives but have given up those jobs and have taken to other jobs that do not deal with government issues.
