Your cover letter and resume are two of the most important documents you will ever have to produce. Make sure they are professional, well written and error-free.
Your cover letter must have at least three paragraphs (introduction, body, and conclusion) and include all business letter components. i.e., letterhead, date, inside address, salutation, signature block, and a postscript.
Follow the guidelines in chapter 15 to develop your resume. It should contain an overview of your education, skills, and experiences. Do not use complete sentences in your resume and be mindful of appropriate parallelism.
