    Death penalty is a form of punishment given to the criminals who have committed severe crimes. It existed in the United States since it became a country. In the present times, death penalty has been legalized in 31 states out of the 50 states in the United States. Various forms of murder, treason, airline hijacking, and so on are the varied crimes due to which the criminal is provided with death penalty. This essay would elucidate the pros and cons of death penalty in the United States.
