In Cold Blood is a real-life story that has affected United States in the November 1959 by Truman Capote, which became one of the most interesting nonfictional novels of that period. This novel is mainly meant for those who are interested in studying investigation, psychology and journalism (Murray). The story mainly tells about the murder of the clutter family in Holcomb, Kansas in the year 1959, where the main character Edward had murdered his entire family in search of the money and then find themselves that they are protecting themselves from law. Later on, Dick Hickock and Perry Smith were executed on April 14th 1965 after a series of trial (Brooks et al.).
