1.Introduction
This research paper is based upon “Nestle Company” where I worked in a group of setting up
a project related to HRIS. Nestle is a global FMCG company which is providing healthy food
with nutrition.
It is meeting needs of customers by offering good food and good life. The term
group can be defined as combination of two, three or more individuals who come together to
achieve common goals of an organization. Nestle has been rewarded because groups are
helping in creating an edge over competitors by dealing with different kinds of risks
associated with its business such as changing taste and preferences of customers, technology
and environmental factors (Mckeown, R. 2011). Groups can be created with small or large
number of individuals who possess willingness and cohesiveness. At Nestle, the groups have
been managed by group leaders who will be acting as a coach, mentor or trainer to coordinate
for achieving set goals and targets in a definite period of time. In this paper, dynamics of
group, process how information was being accessed and shared, generation of ideas and
positive and negative behaviours of group members have been explained in a detail manner. I
have worked in Nestle Company in a group of 5 members who came from cross cultural
backgrounds to get the project completed. The project was to create a strategic human
resource management plan get implemented at Nestle through Human resources Information
system (HRIS). The implementation of HRIS would help in collecting, analyzing,
disseminating and taking decisions related to HR polices of Nestle in an effective manner.
There are several kinds of benefits associated for nestle by the work betting done in groups
such as increasing productivity of Nestle, development of skills of its employees, sharing of
ideas and knowledge, being reliable, exchanging information and improving relationships.
2. Group dynamics
Group dynamics will help in explaining about patterns related to behaviour and attitude of a
group. The group dynamics will explain how each member will be important for group and
its project. It will explain how each member action and though process will be positively or
negatively affecting work of a group. It will help in removing individual differences and
build better working combinations by creating relationships with like minded members. The
group dynamics will engage each group member by making their responsible and accountable
to get the work completed It will explain how group was being formed /developed in Nestle
Company with respect to its structure and functioning process.

The forming stage explained us in a group to know each other group members by sharing
expectations of working in a group. It is a stage which helped the group members of Nestle to
