William Soeltz, the food editor for The Boston Herald, conducted a study to examine the quality of wine (measured by age only) at local restaurants. Independent random samples of three types of wines (red, white, and rosé) were obtained from four exclusive restaurants (The Federalist, Top of the Hub, Capital Grille, and Azure).
