Perception
Perception
Perception is a cognitive process that allows people to take in information through their senses (sensation), respond to it, and interact with it.
Perception includes the five senses of touch, sight, hearing, smell, and taste.
It also includes proprioception, which is a group of senses dealing with the ability to detect changes in one's bodily posture and movement.
It also includes cognitive processes like recognising a friend's face or smelling a familiar scent that are required for information processing.
How?
Students' cognitive development allows them to build on previous knowledge and concepts.
This teaches students how to connect new and old ideas.
Children's learning talents and subject knowledge can help them approach homework with enthusiasm and confidence.
Perception is the term used to describe the sensory experience of the environment. It includes both sensing and responding to environmental stimuli in order to be successful (Rose et al., 2015).
The perceptual process is the means through which we gain knowledge about the characteristics and components of our surroundings that are critical to our continued existence. Perspective not only determines our perception of the world around us, but it also provides us with the ability to act in that world as well.
Attention
Attention
Meaning
Attention steers our mental lives in specific directions.
The nature of this selectivity is a major point of disagreement among contemporary attention theories.
Some popular theories attribute attention selectivity to the brain's limited ability to process complex aspects of a large number of perceived stimuli.
Other theories relate attention selectivity to the restricted capacity of the thinking subject to consciously accept multiple thought trains.
A third group tries to explain attention selectivity without mentioning capacity constraints.
These theories link attention selection to sustaining a single coherent path of action, precision sensory input weighting, or rivalry between mutually inhibitory processing streams.

Attention is a state of current consciousness; it is a state of immediate experience. There are always happenings happening in the world that affect one's perceptions. The body also has events that affect attention, just as memories have representations of past events that can be accessed by consciousness when appropriate.
While it might seem that current consciousness encompasses all of those occurrences, this is not the case. An individual narrows their focus on a fraction of this wide range of potential experiences. The subjective sphere of awareness is this subset. This limitation's cause can be determined. The brain organises optimal response patterns by controlling and coordinating multiple inputs and stored experiences (LeBlanc, McConnell & Monteiro, 2015). The brain is a powerful processor, but it is restricted. One cannot consciously experience all events and information at once. Similarly, it is impossible to perform an infinite number of acts concurrently. The question becomes how to select inputs, intermediary processes, and outputs that demand attention and engage resources.
Thus, attention is a selective awareness that determines the extent and quality of one's interactions with the environment.
Memory
Memory
The process of collecting, storing, maintaining, and retrieving information is known as memory. Encoding, storage, and retrieval are the three basic processes involved in memory.
The ability to store and recall information is referred to as memory. As we all know, it isn't a perfect technique.
It's possible that we'll forget or misremember something.
