Clouds may
be defined as; visible water particles and precipitation occurs due to release
of water particles from oversaturated air molecules. Such a kind of saturation and oversaturation
may result from cool air that is found in the upper atmosphere. (Abbatt et al. 2006)
Rising of air could occur due to numerous reasons out of which, the most common is
convection which results due to heating of the Earth’s surface by the radiations released via Sun.
When air molecules become warm then they could reflect fast movement and air becomes less
dense. Such less dense air is capable to rise (vertical movement) above the more dense one due
to its comparatively reduced weight. (Curtius, 2006)
