Why is the fuel pressure regulator on the Bosch Motronic system indexed to manifold absolute pressure?
A. So that it can keep the fuel rail pressure constant under all driving conditions.
B. So that it can maintain a constant pressure differential between the fuel in the fuel rail and the air in the intake manifold under all driving conditions.
C. So that it can vary the flow rate of the fuel injectors as a method of controlling the air/ fuel ratio.
D. So that it can compensate for poor fuel delivery at wide-open throttle in the event that the throttle valve switch were to fail.
