In 950, Catholicism became prevalent and dominant religion in Europe. This weakened the Islam religion in Europe, unlike the past. This threat was intensified in 1095, with the emergence of the first Christian crusade. The Christian Crusaders launched war against Muslims to take over the holy city of Jerusalem.
