The best vision for America was Jeffersonian democracy which was founded by Thomas Jefferson who was called the “the most democratic of the Founding fathers"(Michael Kazin, et al., 2011). He was strongly in favour of American republicanism and hence the political outlook of Jefferson was against corruption, artificial aristocracy and was inclined on virtue prioritizing “yeoman farmer”, ”plain folk” and “planters”. Jeffersons most crucial political belief was an “absolute acquiescence in the decisions of the MAJORITY." He believed that the will of the people, voiced through elections can provide the most appropriate guidance for running the country or state. He also believed that the central government should be “rigorously frugal and simple” .He had a deep conscience that better life can be lead if importance is given to farming, according to him that was the most virtuous and meaningful human activity as at that time farmers were an overwhelming majority in the American republic.
