What does culture mean to you? In what ways is your L1 “loaded with culture”? In your learning of an L2, what are some concrete examples of that L2 being “intricately interwoven” with the culture that the L2 represents? In what ways was your learning of an L2 and the L2 culture a “reciprocal development”? As a teacher, what are some ways to incorporate culture, especially the “invisible” aspects, into your instruction?
