What did the author(s) find? Are examples of the data provided? Do these examples illustrate the procedures used and the researcher’s interpretations of the data?  The author reported two major themes: (1) creating a shared narrative and (2) creating ties that bind. The shared narrative refers to program-related experiences shared by residents and caseworkers including move-in, home meetings, life events, activities in the community, office meetings, and oncall requirements (pp. 419–423). Creating ties that bind came through the quality of the interactions and included paying attention and communication based on mutual regard. The quality of the interactions resulted in making a connection between caseworkers and residents (pp. 423–426). The author provides quotes to illustrate the meaning of the categories that helped clarify the researchers’ interpretations.
