In this dynamic fast paced world, today organization thrives working in cross-cultural team. Therefore, it is very important to conduct relevant trainings in the organization that can enlighten people about different cultures. Cross-cultural training enhances self-confidence in the teams and individuals by empowering the sense of control over the situation and platform to comprehend colleagues in the workplace. The most basic level of cultural training constitutes about making the audience aware about the differences in respective cultures and ways to interpret the communication. Furthermore, cultural training needs to include how to build empathy in employees while working with employees from diverse cultures (Landry, L., 2019).
Training for managers revolves more around empathy towards his/her team and developing strong Emotional Intelligence (EQ). This training would help the manager connect better with the team members and develop a strong bond with them. On the other hand for employee, in any cultural trainings it is imperative to share information about cultures, communication styles and power distance.
