Introduction
The pandemic had to be answered and all what was needed to hold back the deadly virus was an effective vaccine. There are three Covid-19 vaccines that are authorized in Canada for an emergent use. The COVISHIELD by AstraZeneca, Janssen by Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer BioNtech and Moderna vaccines. Among these the Moderna and Pfizer BioNtech vaccine uses the medical ingredient of messenger-ribonucleic acid (mRNA). Unlike conventional vaccines mRNA is delivered into the cells in order to provide instructions to the cells for the development of specific proteins that triggers the immune system. Conventionally weaker cells were delivered to awaken the immune responses. The vaccines also possess genetic instructions to stabilize the spike proteins of corona virus. While the other two; Janssen and AstraZeneca utilize a viral vector platform. In this case the instructions are provided to the cells via DNA inside a vector virus, the Adenovirus 26. This DNA starts encoding for the protein spikes of corona virus...
