As we study theology we must always come to the question of how this theology impacts our lives today. If theology does not have a connection to our everyday lives, then we are Deists. Deism is the belief that God has created everything, but then has left it on its own to fend for itself. It does not believe in a relationship between us and God. It is crucial that we do not become forgetful of the connection between Theology and our life!

Luke 2:28-32

In our devotion passage for this week, we see a man whose theology impacted every aspect of his life. How has this man’s life changed because of God? How does he react to God in his life?

This week, you will be challenged to ask these questions for yourself as well. Also ask yourselves how your life would be different if you were a Deist.
