We have spent the first five weeks of this course working to understand 'the black world" as a concept and a physical reality. We have worked to deconstruct and understand the socio-political and economic movements that have contributed to the oppresion of black people worldwide. This final asks that you reflect on and analyze your progress and learning on these topics. You must make an argument about how and why your ideas about these topics have changed (or how and why they haven’t changed) as a student of this course.

Step One:

Reflect on the thoughts and beliefs you held about these topics before you entered the classroom (why did you hold these beliefs, what life events, experiences, representations, led you to believe the things that you did on day one?)

Then reflect on what you have learned (how have what you have learned aligned or diverged from the beliefs that you held when you entered the class?

Step Two:

Come up with a specific argument about your progress so far as a student (thesis statement) Here are some questions to help you craft your statement:
- What readings/lectures/classroom activities were you most drawn/resistant to?
- How have these things changed your understanding of race and racism and the black world as a whole?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses as a student in this class?
- What is the most important thing you have learned so far in this class?

Step Three:

Select course readings, activities, clips etc. from class to support your argument.

Thesis Statement
Socio-political and economic depletion of the black people have lead other races to be alarmed about the situation. It is an age-old tyranny that brought us to such repercussions where the value of life is degraded. Life that is one, life that is for all.
Introduction
Earth is the most archaic planet known to us. It is obviously, because we are born on this earth and we live on this planet, which has made it our home. Residing on earth, we have learnt about thousands of species, living creatures, organisms and races. Sooner did the humankind acquired intelligence about a civilized life, we built habitats for our own, comfortable around whom we think are our own, societies, boundaries, caste and creed, and the bigger differentiation— races. Races are many in this world and we name them based on the way they look, the way they behave or in today’s time, to extent to which they matter. Hence, this essay intends to find out to extent to which the big issue of racism has emerged. 
Educational Insight in the Classroom
Before I took these classroom sessions, where we broke down gradually, the issue of black people across the globe regarding their social, political and economic happenings, I never took this issue too deep into my thoughts due to my lack of awareness. To me the oppression that black lives are facing was mere just because of the discrimination about their skin type or the social prejudice that emerged when weighed with the white people. As mentioned by Spiegel and Grau, the white people have gotten the supremacy, the talent, the zeal to succeed and they have eventually become the world leaders for this bias. Thus, they gain stability in the world. 
Soon I was enlightened with the knowledge from my classroom, I now see it in a loose way and I am letting it set sail to the ideas brought to me.
