Project Proposal Chipotle Group #4 Proposal: Meal Prep Kits Gymgoers, fitness enthusiasts, bodybuilders, and athletes have the same core necessity of ensuring they’re getting the necessary calories, nutrients, proteins, etc. For the regular person that doesn’t have much time to cook and prepare their meals as needed, one of their healthier choices ends up becoming Chipotle. The reason for this is, Chipotle bowls/burritos have a good amount of calories and are relatively well-sourced and fresh. For a quick meal, it ends up being an excellent choice for most. The reason why we chose this is that there is a market that is increasingly growing for people who go to the gym. Most people who go to the gym have a goal, either they want to lose weight or they want to build muscle. In order to achieve these goals, a balanced diet and nutrition are crucial. Chipotle is best situated in the market to offer this type of product since regular gym goers love Chipotle for a quick and decently nutritious meal as compared to other fast food. The problem that we are trying to solve is a relatively cheaper, quick-on-the-go, healthy, and delicious meal kit that can be bought in bulk and stored for later consumption. The main product is 5 bowls with different combinations of meat, rice, and vegetables for $50. The options available are varied based on your goals, such as losing weight or gaining muscle. The first option offers fewer calories, about 800 per bowl which is based on vegetables, less amount of rice, and a regular portion of meat.
