We are suggesting that planners have a responsibility to carefully assess situations, then determine which type of planning is most appropriate at that time. Does this pose a dilemma for the ethical absolutist when he or she is being asked to think like an ethical relativist, and vice versa? Can you move between ethical types without losing integrity? Why or why not?
