ISOURCES ARE VERY IMPORTANT: I WILL LEAVE A LIST FOR IDEAD, PLEASE SEE PDF FOR IT.

A 10-page ( YOU WILL NOT DO 10 10 PAGES ) double-spaced final paper, including 8-10 properly cited references. At least three of your references should be Earth Science references, and at least three should be Art History references. No more than 4 of your references should be websites. If you are working in a group, it is important to ensure that the various components of the paper work together with a stylistic flow and are formatted consistently. The best way to do this is to have one person who is responsible for the final round of editing and proofreading.

For your selected material, you will research:

· the chemical and physical properties of your rock or mineral;

· the conditions under which the material forms in the Earth;

· where your material was mined or sourced, in antiquity and today (if appropriate);

· what processing is needed to turn the raw Earth material into an art material;

· symbolic, religious, or political significance (if any);

· 2-3 case studies of a work of art or architecture that uses the selected material;

· how the physical properties of the material – for example, its color, hardness, clarity, stability – influence its symbolism or use in art and architecture; and

· how the relative rarity/abundance and difficulty/ease of transportation and processing impact the value and usage of your material in history.

These are the properties that assist to get proper knowledge about the color, hardness, melting point and the boiling points of the rock of Porcelain. With the help of the physical and the chemical properties it would be easy to know about the components of the Porcelain. Porcelain is made by the kaolin and color of this clay is white and can turn into different shades that are brown, orange and pink (Kumar et al. 2020, p.98).
