we are now to write 1000 words essay based on this Presentation. It’s about Mahatma Gandhi and must have at least 8 References. Theory we use in the presentation which I suggest we use for the essay is Thompson Neil PCS but any other theory can be added if you feel like it.

You must, as an individual effort, produce an essay 1000 words in which 800 for essay and 200 words for reflective essay to explain and support the power point. This will be instead of a stand up presentation in front of the class and will be individual to you and make sure the learning outcomes are met in full. The power point will be turned in on Blackboard and the essay turned in on the appropriate link.

Mother India has given birth of many enlightened souls in previous decades and Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was one of the enlighten souls that mother India has given birth in the previous decades
. Mahatma Gandhi has endeavor his whole life to apply that ideology to his struggles and to the society. Civil disobedience, activist, peace maker, self disciplined, religious, purity, morals, politician, equality, independence, Satyagraha, nonviolence - these are the few words associated with ' The Father of Nation' but today with our analytical minds, we can look back to see the merits of his achievements through the footsteps he took.
On 2 October in 1869, Gandhi was born into an Indian Gujarati Hindu Baniya family maintained by Karamchand Gandhi in Porbandar. Gandhi joined school, but was not able to excel particularly at anything though he learned the things to win the battle for existence in this world. He married in 1882, aged 13. His wife was Kasturibai was also 13. After completing the schooling process, he decided to be a lawyer. He went to England and enrolled at the Inner Temple. On his return to India, he found that he could not make up his mind to make his career in law so he moved to South Africa.
The experiences in South Africa reframed his life. In 1893, on seventh of June, Gandhi was thrown off a train after being unwilling to give up his first class seat a European and for the very first time he protested with his ideology of nonviolence, it was this unjust treatment, which motivated him to be a social fighter for equality (Rao, 2017).
According to Mahatma Gandhi, there is no such thing as "Gandhism" and he did not want to leave any sect after him. He never claimed that he originated any new principle or doctrine. He always stated about his efforts to combat problems in daily life. He rejected the Western Civilization and he explained it as the Kingdom of Satan polluting everyone it is getting touched. As opined by Sheean (2018), the modernization comprised of industrialization, parliament, the upbringing of British Companies and all the things that most people took as progress was rejected by him.
