Yes the benefits outweigh the risk of self-disclosure as perceiving both the risk and benefits that could be accumulated through it the benefit is much more prevalent than the risks. The self-disclosure is very important in the life of a person at every stage that is the reason its presence is mandatory in the life of an individual considering its benefits it helps in forming a strong relationship of a person with another. ISt helps people in getting closer to each other by understanding each other. Self-disclosure is important to boosting empathy and building trust. While the risk related to it holds on the rejection of fear, negative impression, loss of influence in relationship and many more so it could not be considered that the risk is much more prevalent comparing the benefits.
