THE STORY OF US
The Story of stuff project and its related animated short stories are made in collaboration with Free Range Studios and used in 2007 to educate young and all aged minds the reality of their day to day consumption. The presenter and writers were successful in making me feel obliged to think how rather unknowingly we are damaging our own ecosystem and what we can do to contribute to make our world a better place to live. The idea behind the project is to show people first as how the system works, then giving their idea credibility by showing commonly used products and how they are beneficial only to some people than the common man, and lastly how people can bring the change by making the right choices.
The animated aspect makes it fun to watch and the audience do not lose interest in such sensible and important matter. The project takes use of four videos to capture the idea and will try to summarise them one by one.

This short video starts with a friendly note and quickly shifts to the main theme of the series. The presenter tells how the textbook explanation of a system is flawed and in reality is full of intermediary loopholes. The presenter argues that what looks like a simple, non-flawed linear system is actually in crisis and it will not run indefinitely.
