1. One thing to balance our planet is soil or earth or ground. This is because of its vast scale as well as its ability to grab greenhouse gases in great quantity that along with blanching climate may also replenish fresh water supplies as well as feed the world.
2. Largest man made natural disaster in our country was called The Dust Bowl, 1930. This was caused by the farmers who were tiling the plains while leaving the soil exposed. The tiled land converted into plain soil and the land became desert.
3. Microbes are vital as they tend to hold more water as well as sequester carbon resulting in production of better food. Microbes results in better soil, better food and ultimately better future.
4. Fritz Haber invented Haber Bosch process which is a method used industrially for synthesizing of ammonia from hydrogen and nitrogen gas. This helped in making synthetic nitrogen fertilizers that increased food production. Also, he created pesticides which were used as first chemical weapons. This improved farming practices as well as increased production of food.
5. Glyphosate causes skin and eye irritation in humans. Individuals breathing spray mist of gylphosate felt irritation in throat and nose. Saliva may also increase along with burning in throat, mouth, vomiting, nausea and diarrhea in humans.
6. one third of the earth’s topsoil has been lost since the chemical agriculture ramped up in 1970s worldwide. This loss is significant because along with erosion, the quality of soil is also affected by this leading to impacts such as nutrient degradation, losing soil structure, compaction and the soil salinity.
