    I had visited the official website of the National Museum of New Delhi, where online exhibition of the Ancient Indian art was going on. During the exhibition, I had come across one artifact, which is an idol, named Ganga. This Idol is one of the prominent sculptures in the museum, which is beautifully made of terracotta. The sculpture is considered miracle in the sculpture art because of its large size. This sculpture belongs to the Gupta period of India during 5th century. This period is also known as Golden age of the history. The sculpture itself is a remark of innovation and creativity. It has been said that the Gupta period is known for its technical perfection and refinement in the Indian terracotta art form (Indian art and architecture, 2019).
