Using the variables AGE and CESD from the depression data, make two new categorical variables called CAGE and CCESD. For CAGE, group together all respondents that are 35 years old or less, 36 up to and including 55, and over 55 into three groups. Also group the CESD into two groups; those with a CESD of ten or less and those with a CESD greater than ten. Compute a two-way table and obtain the usual Pearson chi-square statistic for test of independence. Also, run a log-liner analysis and compare the results.
