Using the STATIN data set from problem 8.2, add GENDER to the model and test for GENDER and DRUG effects as well as a GENDER by DRUG interaction. Remember that DRUG is a repeated measure factor and the design is unbalanced. Generate an interaction graph for LDL, HDI, and TOTAL with DRUG on the x-axis and GENDER as the plotting symbol. Use either PROC PLOT or PROC GPLOT.
Problem 8.2
Run the following program to create a SAS data set called STATIN (NOTE: Statins are a class of drugs that lower cholesterol. Some raise the "good" cholesterol [HDL] while loweri.ng the "bad" cholesterol [LOLJ, as well as the total cholesterol.) Each patient has his or her cholesterol measured at the end of 6 weeks while on drug A, B, or C. Ignoring GENDER and DIET in the data set, compare the total cholesterol (TOTAL), the LDL, and the HDL among the three drugs.
