Use the thermal comfort tool by the Center for the Built Environment, University of California Berkeley. Select the Compare tab. Start by creating two identical scenarios. Change the air temperature in the both scenarios to move out of the comfort zone. In the second scenario, vary clothing level, metabolic rate, and air speed to satisfy compliance. Investigate if the desired air movement can be achieved by a ceiling or desk fan. Provide a description of the conditions, including clothing, type of activity, and air speed that is required to achieve comfort.
