e. Based on the results of (a) through (c), what conclusions can you reach concerning these variables?
For questions (a) and (b), students are required to do calculations in Excel.
For questions (d), students are to use the
boxplot makerfor this assignment.
These graphs are to be copied/pasted in a Word documents. Students are required to write at least a 3 sentence explanation each for parts (c) to (e)
Please input your answers from Excel into the table for this project. This covers parts (a) and (b). Statistic Two-star Three-star Four-star Minimum Maximum Range 1st Quartile Median 3rd Quartile Mean Variance (n-1) Standard Dev (n-1) IQR Coefficient of Variation For part (c), answer the following questions for your analysis. State the average prices of the 2-star, 3-star and 4-star hotels, respectively. State the middle rank prices (median) of the 2-star, 3-star and 4-star hotels, respectively. State the difference in prices between the lowest and highest price hotels of the 2-star, 3-star and 4-star hotels, respectively. State the difference in prices among the middle 50% for the 2-star, 3-star and 4-star hotels, respectively. State the typical distance of the prices around the mean for the 2-star, 3-star and 4-star hotels, respectively. State the average spread around the mean relative to the mean prices of the 2-star, 3-star and 4-star hotels, respectively. Do not forget to add your boxplots for part (d) and your analysis for part (e). Please present your work in a professional manner. It should be nice and neat.
