Introduction
Recent data collected by scientists indicate that there are about 8.7 million species and over 7 billion people on our planet Earth. Thus, it can be said one giant ball of space has to support a very large number of living organisms. The human activities in the pas
t 100 years have caused havoc on the ecological balance of the planet. Thus, everyone is being urged now-a-days to live in a way that we promote sustainable development. We must take care of our planet if we want our planet to take care of us mentioned Daelmans (2015). Sustainable development is the way of living in which the humans take care of their planet. Humans should perform their daily activities in a way that it causes minimum damage to the environment. Sustainable development should be introduced in the life of children from an early age so that taking care of their planet becomes a habit for them discussed Black (2017).

2) The students would firstly write what all materials they use in one day from morning till night.
3) From the next day onwards, the students would try to reduce the number of materials that they use. This would help them realize that if they use less material, they would produce less waste.
4) Then they would write about the things that they reused. Reuse can be done by giving away the things that one no longer needs or using something again.
5) Next step would be recycling i.e. making something out of the waste material. According to data, one can recycle up to 84% of the waste material.
6) The students would keep writing their daily contribution towards the project in their journal. The simple daily entries would be used in the end to conclude the activities after two weeks.
7) At the end of two weeks, they would describe their findings and present their findings to the concerned teacher.
8) The most creative ideas and maximum utilization of the three R’s would be awarded as the best project.
Marking Structure
The project would help the students in gaining an insight about their daily activities and how they can do their part to save the environment.
