Use ReGen to calculate the electron density profile using a NeQuick model, as described in Section 4.4.4,

to analyze dependency of TEC on time of day, time of year, solar activity, and latitude. Figure 10.3 shows

an example of such plots. The TEC profiles are calculated for the same conditions for midnight and midday. One can see the dynamics of day–night changes in ionospheric layers (shown by Figure 4.6), in particular a disappearance of the D-layer at night.
