n a process for NaCl recovery from its aqueous solution containing 24% NaCl (wt%) and rest
water, 80% of the dissolved salt is recovered. This is done by evaporating a part of the water followed
by crystallization. Solubility of the salt in H2O is 36g/100 g H2O. If 1000 kg of original solution is
processed find (i) the mass of water evaporated and (ii) the mass of mother liquor left after
crystallization.
