Introduction
The word ‘Domain’ refers to the aspect of growth and changes occurs when used in the relation to human development. The children of 5years range often experience obvious and significant changes in one domain at a time. Thefour major domain that will be discussed below are: Physical Developmental Domain, Cognitive Developmental Domain and Socioemotional Developmental DomainParental Development and how their effects bring a change in child growth and development.
Parental Development
As stated by Unwin et al.There are three stages this process undergoes. The first two weeks after conceiving the baby is termed as the germinal stage, the third week up to eighth week is known as embryonic stage and finally the time from the ninth week till the birth of the baby are known as Fetal period. The teratogens which include mainly drugs and alcohol can affect the baby in the womb who are in a forming stage and it may also cause critical periods during pregnancy.
